Sweden’s Innovation Agency (Vinnova) has announced the second 2019 call for proposals for industrial research at large-scale photon and neutron facilities. The deadline is 20 November. Feel free to discuss opportunities with us, preferably at an early stage to get sufficient time to set up a dedicated project team and write a carefully planned proposal.
HAXPES experiments by Uppsala Synchrotronix and partners have been highlighted in the SOLEIL news. HAXPES was evaluated for chemical depth profiling of industrial aluminium, titanium, and solar cell samples together with Uppsala university and SOLEIL scientists. The beam time was granted within the Calipso Plus program.
Gränges’ new Trillium aluminium product is highlighted in a recent article at metallerochgruvor.se. The synchrotron research projects about aluminium brazing together with Swedish universities and Uppsala Synchrotronix are also discussed in the same article. Photo: Gränges.
