Prof. Martin Magnuson – X-ray spectroscopy
Martin Magnuson is expert on X-ray absorption and emission techniques such as EXAFS, XANES, XRF, and RIXS. He is Professor in physics at Linköping University in Sweden. Martin’s major research interests are the electronics structure and chemical bonding in nanolaminates, wide-bandgap materials, and amorphous composites and metals.
Dr. Lars-Åke Näslund – X-ray spectroscopy
Lars-Åke Näslund is expert on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). He has substantial hands-on experience from synchrotron radiation-based research at several large scale facilities around the world. Lars-Åke has a M.Sc. in Material Physics and a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics, and he has a broad scientific and industrial background, covering heterogeneous catalytic reactions on surfaces, metal corrosion, and other interfacial phenomena. He is also experienced in thin film growth and phase transformation processes.
